今年的暑假，對愛心育幼院與少年之家的孩子來說相當的不一樣喔！

有兩個遠從海的另一邊來的團體-西雅圖南區證道堂與國際播種事工，將要進到我們的愛心育幼院與花蓮少年之家

進行為期一周至兩周的短宣隊活動~

他們將和孩子有非常深入的互動，希望可以帶給孩子們快樂的時光以及實質上的幫助！

以下是西雅圖南區證道堂的Lissa所寫的一封信，分享給大家！

她也是福音隊的一員，很期待與孩子們見面呢！

在台灣短宣隊為愛心育幼院規劃的過程中，我真實體驗到對神的恩典與計畫感到敬畏。我們在幾周內從無到有，成為一個完整的17人團隊，而且我真心相信神為短宣隊建立了一個最完美的團隊。JEN跟我都很開心能一起領導這個團隊。我們在彼此小孩出生前就是非常好的朋友了。因為曾經一起為許多事工服事過，所以我們可以馬上展開有效率的團體合作。我們瞭解彼此的長處與短處並且截長補短互相支援，讓計劃與領導的過程既有效率又有效果。過去幾個月對我們來說時光飛逝，而我們也完成了許多的計畫。

首先我們建立一個縝密且自認能順利執行的時程表，包含相當的互動活動讓短宣隊成員可以跟愛心育幼院院童有一對一接觸的機會。我認為藉由這些活動計畫將可以建立許多長期的關係。大部分旅行行程已經計畫好，我們所有的機票及機場接送也都預定好了，只剩下一點收尾的細節工作。在台灣的住宿都訂好了，押金也都支付了。每個主要小隊包括假期讀經班與敬拜、壁畫、手工藝以及英語教學等，都正積極的在工作細節上努力，並且會在下次會議時展現給其他小隊看。我們也預定了遊覽車與門票和愛心院童有一趟小旅行。同時，我們也非常努力招募資金，我們寄發募捐信給親朋好友，並且即將有個短期服務隊募款音樂會會在教會舉辦。凡是今年夏天每一個參與教會兩個短期服務隊的青年與兒童都會在音樂會上演出。我們正計劃擴大邀請鄰近的教堂，母子教堂姊妹教堂和家人和朋友們。希望將來我們能夠在部落格上發表音樂會的影片。

隨著計劃的腳步逼近，我們請你為我們每一位成員祈禱，祈禱我們在每天的屬靈的戰爭中受到保護，祈禱我們團隊對上帝的旨意保持專心一致，並建立我們之間良好的團隊精神。

In the planning process for the Taiwan Mission to Ai-Hsin Children’s Home, I am truly awed by God’s grace and plan.    We went from not having a team to a full team of 17 within a few weeks and I truly believed that God has assembled a perfect team for this mission.   Jen and I are so happy to be leading this team together.  We have been great friends since before our kids were born.  Having worked together previously on many ministries, we are able to go right into effective teamwork from day one.  We each understand each person’s strengths and weaknesses and are able to cover each other to make the planning and leading efficient and effective.    The past couple of month has gone by so fast for us, but we also have quite a lot of the planning done. 

First of all, we have a detailed schedule that we think will work well for us.  It has quite a bit of interactive activities that will give the team members one on one time with each child at Ai-Hsin.  I think we will be able to build many long-time relationships through the activities we have planned.  We are 95% done with the travel plans.  All of us have plane tickets and the airport transfers are scheduled too.  We just have a few last minute details to work out.   Housing is also booked and the deposit has been paid.   Each core team, VBS and Worship, Wall Painting, Crafts, and English Teaching, are actively working on the details and will be presenting them to the rest of the team at the next meeting.   We also have the bus and entrance tickets reserved for the field trip.  We are also working hard on the team fundraising.  We are in the process of sending out fundraiser letters to our family and friends and we will also have a Short-Term Mission Fundraiser Concert at our church.  Each youth and child going on our churches’ two summer short-term missions will perform in the concert.  We are planning on extending the invitation to neighboring churches, mother and sister churches and family and friend.  Hopefully, we will be able to post a video of the concert on the BLOG afterwards.  

As we get closer to the trip, we ask that you pray for each of us to be protected for the spiritual warfare that is attacking us daily and for our team to stay focus on God’s purpose for the mission and to build good teamwork among us.
